After contacting me, the first step is to setup a Pampered Paws Meeting.  It gives us the ability to get acquainted and to see first hand how your dog(s) respond to me.  A small investment of time for determining if I’m the best person to care for your pets and home.

 As our special friends age, they sometimes require more care and attention (i.e., meds, assistance, special diets, etc.).  I have that experience and I'm prepared to provide the extra TLC needed to keep them comfortable and happy during your time away.

Medication Administration

Life happens and sometimes medications may become necessary to maintain your pets' health, or aid in dealing with a temporary issue.  My experience includes oral medications and simple syringe administration (i.e., diabetes injections).

Booking a Request

New Customers...Welcome!  

Upon contacting me, the first step in this process is to schedule a meeting if I've not worked for you before.  Investing a little time up front will allow us to determine if I’m the right person to care for your dog(s).  Its worth the peace of mind to know that your pets are safe and happy while you are away.  


Extended Stay Service

The Pampered Paws policy for requests are based on 24 hour days.  The start time of the first day is the end time of the last day.  Sometimes life happens with circumstances beyond your control.  Requesting additional time with this service ensures that your dog(s) are still being supervised until you arrive home.  


The Extended Stay Service is available when you book your request if you know ahead of time that you will need my service longer.  Please add the time you need to the original request.  Payment for the Booking Request is due upon my arrival to your home.


The unexpected sometimes happens (i.e., transportation delays, or you want to stay away a bit longer), the Extended Stay Service is there for your convenience.  Please contact me as soon as your travel plans have changed and let me know how much longer you will need me to stay.  Payment for the extra time is due upon your arrival home.


Caring for dogs in my home is NOT an option.  Your home is the best environment where your furry friends are most comfortable.  My time will be spent making sure they are well cared for.  I want you to spend YOUR time relaxing.


Additionally, I do NOT care for dogs under 1-year-old, or cats (I have allergies).  

What you can expect during my stay in your home.

After working out the details for entry to your home ahead of time (i.e., front door key, garage door opener, etc.), I will be arriving with my own food, and ask for access to your WIFI.  I will be in your home at all times unless I need to run out for an hour, but will let you know when I leave and when I'm back.


Detailed Instructions 

I ask that you provide detailed instructions for your pet’s feeding / exercise / medication(s), or special behaviors and needs (i.e., steps for getting up and down, furniture access, filtered vs tap water, etc.) will give you peace of mind and are a great help for me as reference.  To the right  is a list of information that would be helpful, and of course add anything extra that you feel is needed.


Services

Collecting the mail while you are gone, and setting out and/or bringing in your garbage bins are other services that I will provide.  Please include this information on your Detailed Instruction sheet if you want me to perform these services.


Sleeping Arrangements

I want YOU to be comfortable during your time away while I'm in your home, and you know best where your pet(s) are relaxed and content.  We can discuss where you would like me to sleep during my stay.


Last Day of the Booking

I will launder the sheets and towels I use unless directed otherwise.  Rest assured, when you arrive home your home will be in the same or in better condition that it was in when I arrived.
